Wolfson Latin Jazz Big Band

Come and enjoy the sounds of Latin Jazz with the Wolfson Latin Jazz Band on Tuesday, July 6th, at 7:30 p.m. at the McCarthy Auditorium, Room 6120, at Miami Dade College, Kendall Campus.

The event is free and open to the public.

Come see Afua Hall Dances on Friday, June 11th at 11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, June 12th at 7:30 p.m. at Miami Dade College, Kendall Campus at the McCarthy Auditorium, room 6120.

A Compilations of One Act Plays

The Studio Theatre is located at M113 in the Martin and Pat Fine Center for the Arts.

Free Admission, no reservations.
Parental Guidance suggested.

The house opens one-half hour before curtain time. Plan to arrive early to assure seating. No one will be admitted after the play begins or seating capacity has been met.

Theater Scholarship Auditions

The Theater Department is offering scholarships to serious, talented theatre artists who are interested in pursuing their studies as a Theatre major here at Miami Dade College, Kendall Campus. We will be holding auditions on June 19, 2009 from 9:00am to 1:00pm in room M113. Please call 305-237-2203 to schedule an audition.

Acting Majors
• All applicants will present two (2) contrasting monologues from published plays, maximum of two minutes each.
• The adjudicators will interview all applicants

Technical theatre Majors
• All applicants will present a resume documenting their backstage accomplishments
• The adjudicators will interview all applicants
